About the Founder

Michele Schofield CDP, ADC is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in the senior living industry, working in almost all aspects of care.  Having worked in facilities and home care management she brings great insight to the families she serves.  She has worked extensively with all stages of Dementia,  focusing on enhancing their quality of life through tailored activities and supportive environments.  She has a roll-up-your-sleeve attitude and a servants heart.

In addition to her expertise in senior care, she is a talented Interior Designer with a background in ADA compliance.   This unique combination of skills has allowed her to create environments that are aesthetically pleasing and nurturing to the Dementia patient and their family.

She left the facility world and created My Status Quo during the Covid pandemic so she could support families who were caring for their loved one at home.
