About the Founder and CEO

Mrs. Michele Schofield, CDP, ADC, brings over 30 years of experience in customer service, with a specialized focus on senior living, program development, and community engagement.  Her professional journey spans key roles in life enrichment,  project management, volunteer coordination, and consulting within Continuing Care Retirment Communities (CCRCs), senior living environments, and in-home care for individuals with Dementia.

Michele has managed comprehensive activity programming for all levels of facility care, designed and implemented social outreach initiatives which include multi-generational engagement and resident-driven activities, clubs, events and fundraisers.

As an entrepreneur, her strong spirit is evident in her work as the owner and operator of My Status Quo, Inc.  She is known for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.  Michele is also highly proficient in a range of administrative and creative tools, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and her knew favorite ChatGPT.    A Certified Activity Director, Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Residential Space Planner with ADA compliance training, she is deeply committed to enhancing the daily lives of seniors and Dementia caregivers with unique products and services that are not available anywhere else!  

 Currently,  her website offers a fairly priced consulting and environmental support service for families caring for loved ones with Dementia.  The only Comprehensive Home Catalog Service available.  And her 'Aging in Place' advocacy and Dementia Caregiver support group information.

in addition to her professional achievements, Michele is an accomplished pianist, has performed in many choirs and established one herself, gardener,  custom seamstress, and devout Christian.  Her husband is an ordained Christian Pastor, and they volunteer in senior living environments where there is a need for Christian church services, prayer, and communion.
