The My Status Quo Home Catalog was created because seniors wanted to provide as much help as they could to the ones who had to process their estate. It started out with an Excel spreadsheet in 2022, and has grown to what you see today.
When there's a downsize of a family home, or sudden death of a loved one, it can often take weeks or months to allocate the contents of their living space. And so often the people who are doing the job are grieving the loss of their loved one! It's a painstaking process!
We photograph and measure furnishings, decor, wall hangings, and art in all of the living spaces. We also take pictures of every room of the home, including outside items like cars, boats, storage units, and safety deposit boxes -for reference. If you have items in attics, basements, or in drawers or closets that you want to be included, please let us know when we arrive.
You receive the printed My Status Quo Home Catalog, a digital pdf version, all of the photographs taken, and the Digital Home Catalog . The Digital products are in secure cloud storage, only seen by those who have your password. This provides a clear view of possessions and assets so families can start the allocation process from a distance. Essentially, it becomes easy to see what items go to loved ones and friends, what goes to estate auction houses, and what gets donated.
The cost is - $300/room. We count all living spaces, we do not count bathrooms, hallways, laundry rooms, garages, attics, or unfinished basements. (Remember - those spaces are still photographed for reference)
